Spoilers for 'Motherland: Fort Salem' Season 1 Episode 3 'A Biddy's Life'

It's raining men or, at least, raining on them as they play lacrosse shirtless, thanks to the weather department of the military, but a lot of the fans couldn't care less. The latest episode of 'Motherland: Fort Salem' features the arrival of a contingent of America's male witches. They have arrived for Beltane - a festival in which female witches are encouraged to mingle with their male counterparts. The "energy" that's meant to be generated from these interactions is supposed to fuel the witches' powers, to be harnessed in this annual tradition. While the women of Fort Salem express great enthusiasm for the men the second they step off the bus, the fans are not quite as impressed.

"Girls. These men are not all that to cheer about," wrote one Twitter user. "Why are they cheering on these men like this?! The bar is on the floor," agreed another fan. "You can tell who’s straight and who’s a lesbian based on how they react when the men come off the buses," noted an amused viewer. Not all the women of Fort Salem are enthusiastic about the men's arrival either. Raelle Collar (Taylor Hickson), who is gay, gets "energy" aplenty from her relationship with Scylla (Amalia Holm). "Tag yourself. i’m rae in the corner looking gay and unimpressed by the dudes," wrote this viewer, including a gif of an unimpressed Raelle.

The fans are not entirely on board with Beltane's concept of having to mingle with the men to gain power, either. "If looking at men was how I got power? I’d be the weakest of the bunch," stated one unimpressed fan. "We. No. Pass. I do not want to be charged up by men," said another viewer. One fan said they couldn't wait for the show to return to featuring all women again, writing, "Honestly can't wait until the dudes leave.... Bechdel test sweetie...."

While some fans may be having fun seeing the women of Fort Salem being able to freely express their sexual desires, for a lot of the fandom, the verdict is clear, summed up in this tweet: "'Mingle with your male counterparts' Me: I’d rather not."

The next episode of 'Motherland: Fort Salem' airs April 8, on Freeform.
