Season two of this series is back with all the turmoils, un-expectations, and expectations of being a mother. The raw form of how it is to be a single mother is going to have another story that needs to reach its fan base. The first season was recognized for its unique take on motherhood. Although similar to the storyline of the other series 'Working Moms' which will also be returning to the Netflix list of shows for another season, 'The Letdown' reached its peak popularity among the fanbase. The show mainly highlights the challenges a woman faces of being a mother without any support from family and how she deals with the baby situation on her own.

The initial release of the series was on Australia's ABC on May 29th, 2019 but its official release on Netflix is on July 31, 2019.
Plot
In the upcoming season two, Audrey and Jeremy feel like they have overcome the worst of it yet, in hope for a stable and normal life. But that is something that just does not happen. The story starts to shift focus from the new parent journey to dealing with various challenges of being parents living in separate cities while juggling work, daycare schedules and moving. The six episodes of this motherhood packed season will be completely entertaining and filled with excitement, confusion, new learning and coping mechanisms of parenthood.

'The Letdown' season one is a well-written comedy-drama exploring the trials and ordeals of early motherhood. The Letdown certainly does not shy away from some of the taboo subjects but showcases all the nitty-gritty of motherhood in a lighthearted and amusing way. The story revolves around a culture-shocked mom Audrey ( Alison Bell) who finds herself in a situation filled with overwhelming experiences two months after she delivers her baby. She is not able to cope with the stress that comes attached to being a mother and joins a mom's support group and begins to bond with the fellow parents who themselves are not perfect in what they do as parents. 'The Letdown' explores the ugly truth behind motherhood with a touch of charm and comedy along the way to keep the series lighthearted and as realistic as possible. The next season deals with parenthood and all the ups and downs that are inevitably a part of it.
