A court heard that an abusive father who wanted to have a threesome with his wife and new lover murdered the mother of his three children after she refused to participate in the act.
Jurors at Teesside Crown Court learned that Torbjorn Kettlewell, 30, stabbed his wife Kelly Franklin, 29, thirty times in a violent street attack after conspiring to kill her with his girlfriend Julie Wass, 48, Mirror reports.
Kelly had been in a "controlling, abusive" relationship with Kettlewell for 12 years, per reports. However, he cheated on her frequently with other women including Wass, their neighbor in Hartlepool, Co Durham. Kettlewell reportedly changed his name by deed poll from Ian to Torbjorn, a character from his favorite video game.
