A mother of two from Long Island, New York, was arrested after she allegedly tried to kill her estranged husband multiple times by breaking into his house and poisoning his drinks with antifreeze, according to reports. The 40-year-old woman, identified as Renee Burke of Holbrook, allegedly tried to poison her husband Matthre Burke while the couple was in the middle of a divorce and custody battle, Newsday reported.
According to a seven-page indictment obtained by the Daily News, the mother allegedly broke into Matthre's home on three separate occasions in September and spiked his drinks. She reportedly asked her eight-year-old daughter for help by asking her to carry the antifreeze.
