A California woman who walked into the frigid waters of the Pacific Ocean with her infant in tow in what was allegedly an attempt to kill both her and the child has been charged with attempted murder.
According to a press release by the San Mateo County Sheriff's Office, deputies assigned to the Coastside Patrol Bureau received reports of a possibly suicidal woman at Poplar Beach in Half Moon Bay, at approximately 3:10 pm on Tuesday, January 16, this past week.
