Woman allegedly murdered her 23-month-old twins before crashing family car into the back of a lorry
A Kent mother who allegedly murdered her twin two-year-olds has now been charged. Jake and Chloe died on Thursday after they were allegedly killed by their mother Samantha Ford, who is scheduled to appear in court on Saturday. Before she was arrested, the 37-year-old mother reportedly crashed the family's Ford Galaxy into the back of a lorry, Daily Mail reports.
At 2.50 am on Thursday morning, 37-year-old Samantha was pulled from the wreckage of a crash on a dual carriageway by emergency services, before responding officers found two dying children at her home in Westwood near Margate, Kent. Despite doctors' best efforts, the youngsters were both pronounced dead shortly after their arrival.
