NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: On September 14, ‘Morning Joe’ hosts Joe Scarborough, Willie Geist, and Mika Brzezinski discussed GOP House Speaker Kevin McCarthy and his decision to direct the House into opening an impeachment inquiry into President Joe Biden.

‘Morning Joe’ played several clips of news reports of Rep James Comer, claiming that they found a lot that was “certainly unethical.” After these clips were played, Scarborough immediately launched into a rant about the impeachment inquiry.

In response to Scarborough, his wife and co-host reminded him that “people are just waking up.” Viewers of ‘Morning Joe’ couldn’t help but laugh at this comment, while also applauding Scarborough’s reporting early in the morning.

Joe Scarborough wishes his viewers a ‘good morning’

As ‘Morning Joe’ hosts Mika Brzezinski, Joe Scarborough, and Willie Geist started their mornings with a discussion of the impeachment inquiry into President Joe Biden, Scarborough took center stage.

The last clip of James Comer was in conversation with Fox News anchor Sean Hannity, where Hannity asked Comer and Rep Jim Jordan, “Do you believe that this is now officially the Joe Biden bribery allegation? And do you believe that you will be able to prove that?”

Comer responded, “I sure hope so. And I do believe that there's a lot of smoke. And where there's smoke there's fire.”

After the clip played, Scarborough immediately imitated Comer, “I sure…I sure hope so. I sure hope so.”

He continued, “Next time we have that, can we have the theme song of 'Green Acres' behind? I really do think that Arnold the Pig, from 'Green Acres' by the way one of the great characters in 1960s television, would do a better job than James Comer.”

Scarborough then continued to imitate Comer in response to the “missing informant.” The ‘Morning Joe’ host added a touch of Comer’s southern accent and said, “Well, we sure hope we can find him. You know why they have trouble finding him? Because he’s an international fugitive. You know why he’s an international fugitive? Cause he’s an arms dealer.”

As Scarborough continued, his voice getting louder, his wife and co-host, Brzezinski, who sat next to him, interrupted him, “People are just waking up.”

In response, Scarborough said, “I know, and good morning, Washington, DC,” continuing his report immediately after.
