‘Morning Joe’ host Joe Scarborough takes a dig at Donald Trump’s hair, compares it to 'medusa'
NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: ‘Morning Joe’ hosts Mika Brzezinski and Joe Scarborough took over MSNBC’s morning slot to talk about former president Donald Trump and about how he “privately worries over going to bad prison, wearing one of those jumpsuits.”
‘Morning Joe’ showcased a brief clip from Trump’s latest interview with Kristen Welker on ‘Meet the Press’ where Trump claimed, “I don’t even think about it, I’m built a little differently I guess.”
As the two hosts reported on Trump’s “worries,” Scarborough couldn’t help but focus on Trump’s hair.
Donald Trump says he’s ‘built differently’
Mika Brzezinski started this particular segment on Donald Trump by saying, “Donald Trump is spending a lot of time thinking about the possibility of going to prison, despite what he said on ‘Meet the Press’.”
The channel then played a clip of Trump in conversation with Kristen Welker, where she asked him, “When you go to bed at night, do you worry about going to jail?”
In the clip, Trump responded, “No, I don't, really. I don't even think about it. I'm built a little differently, I guess because I have had people come up to me and say, 'How do you do it, sir? How do you do it?' I don't even think about it.”
“These are corrupt people I'm dealing with. They're destroying our country. I don't even think about it. All I think about is making the country great, making America great,” added Trump, as the clip concluded.
Joe Scarborough has a question for Donald Trump
As soon as the clip ended, Joe Scarborough repeated Trump's question he said, “I mean, I've got the question, how do you do it? How do you do it, sir? But I'm talking about the hair. Did you see that hair?”
Mika Brzezinski, Scarborough's co-host and wife, immediately responded, “I can’t talk today…but yeah,” as she sat there with a cup of coffee in her hand, her hair a little messier than it is most mornings on ‘Morning Joe’.
Scarborough also mocked Trump’s use of the term “sir,” “How do you do it, sir? What person walks up to him, says ‘sir’? Everybody goes ‘sir’? How do you get the hair to do that?”
The ‘Morning Joe’ host then compared Trump’s hair to Medusa, asking, “How do you get your hair to do that?” as he added, “It’s going in just a variety of directions. It's like a Medusa thing there. I would ask him, if I saw him, how do you do it, sir? How do you do it?”
