Ever since Arturo Roman (Enrique Arce) was first introduced on ‘Money Heist’ fans have wished him dead. His character is resented so much that the viewers are requesting the creators to write him off the show, else they would kill him themselves.

Despite having someone as ruthless as Gandia (Jose Manuel Poga) to channel their hatred towards, the viewers are still too bothered by Arturo’s presence alone, especially after how he turned out to be not only a ‘douchebag’ but a rapist, who they feel shouldn’t be spared at any cost.

A fan who is way too irked by Arturo’s behavior wrote on Reddit, “Best damage of the season for me. Arturito is trash. Imagine running in like a motherf**ing idiot and wanting to become a “hero” again but raped a hostage. Man I feel so bad for her.”

However, they seem to have achieved some satisfaction after watching the fellow-hostages stand up to him, especially when Julia (Belen Cuesta) decided to shoot him in the leg to put an end to his never-ending nonsense.

In what has been treated as “the best moment”, fans are thanking the new addition to the cast Julia Aka Manila for shooting “that b***h ass Arturo”.  Another fan seconded the previous comment adding, “Julia did what everyone wanted to do for 4 seasons”

The majority of the opinionated fans feel that Arturo is absolutely useless and wonder why the creators are not putting an end to his story arc.

While one fan wrote, “Yeah it's just not quite clear to me what his role was in this story. Arturito didn't do a bloody thing except dicking around and raping. The plot could do without him.”

“So glad that the other hostages stood up to Arturo's bullshit. Holy hell, the dude annoyed the living shit out of me in the first three parts, but this season just brought it to a whole other level. Wish the gang would just off him already,” added another.

However, going by what the creators of ‘Money Heist’ told in the Netflix documentary ‘Money Heist’: The Phenomenon, looks like Arturo wouldn’t be killed s easily as he represents the “bad in within us” and was specifically created taking this factor into consideration.

But fans feel Julia should perhaps go for his head next time.

‘Money Heist’ Season 4 is available to stream on Netflix.
