On the next episode of ‘Teen Mom 2’, we will see Leah Messer coming out about her addiction problem in the past to her exes. Leah shares twin daughters Aleeah and Aliannah Simms, 10, with ex-husband Corey Simms and their younger sister Adalynn Calvert, 7, with ex-husband Jeremy Calvert.

In the last episode, we saw Leah decide to send her daughters to school amid Covid-19. The official handle of ‘Teen Mom 2’ posted a preview of the next episode with the caption, “Tomorrow night on #TeenMom2, @LeahMesser considers using her own experiences to help others and is ready to have a conversation with Corey about her past.”

The video started with Leah’s daughters helping each other with e-learning and with everything falling into a routine as Leah decided to call up her ex-husband Jeremy and tell him a little bit about something she was passionate about. They started off by talking about e-learning and Jeremy said he felt, “it’s screwed”. He said some children were being able to learn and retain knowledge through the process while others didn’t learn anything at all. Leah told him the children were not the only people learning and she had decided to get trained in carrying naloxone, which is a nasal spray used to counteract opioid overdose.

Leah’s struggle with addiction in the past is nothing new. The MTV show had covered the issue several times in the past. Leah had also mentioned it in her book, ‘Hope, Grace & Faith’. She further said that now that her past case of addiction was public knowledge, she wanted to do more for people who might be going through the same thing. She also said she wanted to have the same conversation with Corey since both Corey and Jeremy were fathers to her daughters and in future if their daughters go through the same struggle they should be prepared for it.

Leah further confessed that she had never talked to Corey about her past addiction and she felt it was vital for her healing process to clear the air on any kind of repressed emotions.

'Teen Mom 2' airs on Tuesdays at 8 pm ET on MTV.
