Mitt Romney may have just given Vivek Ramaswamy his biggest boost yet as Benny Johnson shares video
TAMPA, FLORIDA: Utah Senator Mitt Romney made an appearance on ‘Person to Person’ where he was interviewed by Norah O’Donnell, and questioned about who he “likes” in the Republican field after he briefly spoke about former president Donald Trump.
This particular 40-second segment from a much larger interview was shared on X, formerly known as Twitter, by conservative host Benny Johnson. In this clip, Senator Romney briefly mentioned GOP candidate and Indian-American entrepreneur Vivek Ramaswamy.
As this clip shared by Johnson gained traction on the social media platform, people labeled Romney’s statement against Ramaswamy an “endorsement” for the Republican candidate.

To this, Romney responded, “Uh, anybody… I’d be happy to support virtually any one of the Republicans…maybe not Vivek…but uh, but the others that are running would be acceptable to me, and I’d be happy to vote for them.”
Romney also added, “I’d be happy to vote for a number of the Democrats, too. I mean, it would be an upgrade from...in my opinion...from Donald Trump and...and perhaps also from Joe Biden.”

After host Benny Johnson shared a clip of Senator Mitt Romney claiming he would vote for virtually “anyone” other than Vivek Ramaswamy, while also mentioning Donald Trump in the same list, the internet was quick to respond.
“A pretty great endorsement for Vivek and Trump,” wrote one user and another said, “Always best to do opposite of what Mitt advocates.”

Internet continued to label Romney’s statement an “endorsement” for Ramaswamy as one user wrote, “Sounds like a Vivek endorsement to me,” and another wrote, “Vivek must be doing well.”
