Kim K lookalike Missy Hernandez's body FOUND underwater after a 40-day search
Missy Hernandez, a 30-year-old mother and Kim Kardashian's lookalike whose body was missing for days is finally found after a 40-day search in Fresno County. Fresno County Sheriff Margaret Mims stated at a news conference that her corpse had been retrieved from the bottom of an aqueduct near Huron on Sunday, January 16, by a dive crew. Mims added, “Hernandez’s body was discovered, weighted down, beneath the surface."
Deputies stated the strange circumstances surrounding Hernandez's absence, as well as the length of time she had been missing, had led to the probability of her death. The Fresno County Sheriff's Dive Team conducted a dangerous dive operation at a specific area of the California Aqueduct where Hernandez's corpse was discovered on Sunday, January 16, according to authorities.

Fresno County Sheriff Margaret Mims expressed, “The move would ultimately bring a sense of closure as Hernandez’s body was discovered beneath the water.” Hernandez and her boyfriend Ramon Jiminez, 41, were last seen leaving an art event in downtown Fresno on December 7, 2021. Jiminez was arrested the next day on a previous domestic violence charge and earlier his bail request was rejected.
Officials claimed that they were confident in arresting Jiminez despite not being able to recover Hernandez's corpse at the time because of the huge quantity of digital and forensic evidence discovered during a month-long investigation. Detectives claimed that they discovered DNA evidence indicating a violent incident during a search of Hernandez's residence.
Hernandez and Jimenez had not been in a romantic relationship for long, according to Sheriff Mims, but they were dating at the time of the domestic violence. On Dec 11, Jimenez's record was updated to include a murder charge. He faces a maximum sentence of 25 years to life in prison, according to Fresno County District Attorney Lisa Smittcamp. On March 22, he will appear in court for an extended arraignment during which the subject of bail will be discussed again.
Detective Gary Haslam of the Fresno County Sheriff's Department has asked anyone with information to call him at (559) 367-4734. Meanwhile, the Hernandez family has put up a GoFundMe campaign to aid with funeral costs which already raised $7,203 till now from 141 donations.
