The 32-year-old victim, Ericka Hall, was found by relatives lying in a pool of blood at her mobile home in Pike County, with police later arresting her two daughters, aged 14 and 12, in connection with the murder.
According to WLBT, Hall was stabbed multiple times in her back before then being shot in the chest, with family members stating she had then staggered outside to take her last breaths in the front yard. Speaking about the murder, her aunt Robin Coney said, "She was stabbed in the back. The knife was still in her back."
