A man who believed that he had lost his dog forever ended up with three times as many pets when his Labrador returned home along with another dog and a goat.
Kyle Krier from Concordia, Kansas said that his wife Laura had let the pet dog out of the house to go to the bathroom the night before but he did not return. In an online post, Kyle shared, "My wife told me there was another white dog in our yard and Bo took off and would not come back."
"We looked all over the place for him and could not find him. We decided to go home and wait for him to come back but he never did. I went out in the morning to look for him and found no sign of him anywhere," the post continued.
Kyle had almost given up all hope and was shocked to hear that his dog had been spotted six miles from the family home.
"My wife got a call that someone had just about hit a black lab, a white lab and a goat on the road. My wife called me and told me the news and I knew right away that that was our dog. I left work right away. I saw the crew out in a cut bean field on the east side of the highway," the post continued.
In an emotional and heartwarming video, the pet Labrador Bo can be seen running back to Kyle and not far behind him are his two new friends — another dog and a goat — who are eager not to be left behind.
Bo climbs the stairs into his pickup truck along with the other dog and the goat follows. In the video, the man can be seen asking the goat, "Hey goat, you wanna get in my truck too? Hop in! Get in the back. Just make yourself at home."
A couple of days later, it was discovered that the goat belonged to Kyle's neighbors Chris and Shawna Huggans. The other dog who had accompanied Bo also lived close by.
