Miss World 2019: Fans fall in love with Nigeria's Nyekachi Douglas as she supports Kenya for top 12 and THAT wig incident

The Miss World 2019 crown has yet to be decided but that's not stopping Nigeria's Nyekachi Douglas from supporting her fellow contestants. As the top 12 for Miss World were being announced, the first named to be called out was Kenya's Maria Wavinya. Wavinya spoke about using her voice to spread love in the community.
She also stressed how the beads on her dress represent the strength that she believes every woman has within her. The audience was impressed with the answer but there was one silent supporter among the contestants and it was none other than Nyekachi Douglas.
Douglas was applauding Kenya's answer and could be heard saying "yes" to her comments. The fans fell in love with the support and warmth that Douglas showed towards her fellow contestants. "Miss World Nigeria. From snapping to Miss World Kenya to her wig falling off and her response to it... Refreshing #MissWorld2019," one user wrote.
Another added, "Miss Nigeria yes babe...come. Kenya. I'm here for the sisters." While another echoed similar thoughts in their comment that read, "Nigeria, when Kenya was called, proves that Nigeria is that girl who’s got your back no matter what."
Douglas is also among the top 12 and used the platform to say that she wants every girl to know that they are beautiful in their way. She also shed light on the wig incident that took place: During her dance performance, Douglas lost her wig and explaining the situation she said that the wig was stopping her from showing her power so she decided to let it go. Douglas will be competing with 11 other women to take home the crown.
