LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Aarieanna Ware, a Dallas native, represented Texas at the Miss USA 2024 pageant in Hollywood, California after winning the title of Miss Texas USA on June 22, 2024. But when she didn't make it into the top 5, her followers expressed their disappointment on social media.

On X, fans complained, "I’m gonna brace myself for some dumb shit though. I’m not gonna say it in writing, but I would not be shocked if they once again choose wrong. Remember these judges didn’t choose Texas." Another person chimed in, "Texas was robbbed!!!!!!!!"

One fan questioned, "What is happening? You left TEXAS out of your five? Are they high???????" A fourth person wrote, "I’m just gonna go back here because I’m petty and irritated. Texas would have bodied this OS question and won the whole thing. I don’t trust anybody on this judges panel because how?"

One user tweeted, "No Texas is insane. Like some madness and badness….combination." Another asked, "Why are they playing in Texas face like this?"

Who finished in the Top 5 of Miss USA 2024?

While competitors from all across the country wowed the crowd on the Miss USA 2024 stage, only five made it to the evening gown competition stage, where they got to show off their presence, elegance, and sense of style. The winner of the evening, Miss Michigan Alma Cooper, was among the top five competitors in the Miss USA 2024 competition.

Other competitors included Miss Kentucky Connor Perry, Miss Tennessee Christell Foote, Miss Oklahoma Danika Christopherson, and Miss Ohio Macy Hudson.

Together with the swimsuit and interview sections, the evening gown competition is one of the three equally scored categories in the pageant. As long as they adhere to a basic dress code that prohibits corset backs and excessive glitter and strongly encourages the use of beads, sequins, and rhinestones, contestants are free to select dresses that best reflect their personalities.
