What is the plot of 'Miss Shampoo'?

Fen is an apprentice at a hair salon with her life chugging along sans ado. But when an injured gangster Tai enters her salon, her life changes forever. Caught up in a maelstrom of high drama, romance, and no shortage of comedy, Fen and Tai must navigate mobsters, salon colleagues, and a love tinged with danger.

Vivian Sung

Taiwanese star Vivian Sung made her feature debut as Lee Siying in 2014's 'Cafe. Waiting. Love'. She is best known for playing Yeh Hsiao-He in the series 'Taste For Love' and as Shen Xi in 'Proud of Love'. She was nominated for the Best Actress award at the 52nd Golden Horse Awards for her role as Lin Zhen-xin in 'Our Times'.

Kai Ko

Singer, actor, and director Kai Ko burst into the limelight with 2011's 'You Are the Apple of My Eye' for which he won Best New Actor at the 48th Golden Horse Awards and the 12th Chinese Film Media Awards. He also starred in films like 2016's 'The Road to Mandalay' and 2021's 'Moneyboys'. You can catch him next as Han Jie in the series 'Agent From Above'.

Who directs 'Miss Shampoo'?

'Miss Shampoo' director Giddens Ko will be better known to avid readers as 'Nine Knives' the pseudonym under which he has written more than 60 novels. Giddens made his feature directorial debut with 'You Are the Apple of My Eye' (which won actor Kai Ko his newcomer award and acclaim). He has also written the upcoming series 'My Precious', based on the novel 'The Girl We Chased Together in Those Years'.

Is 'Miss Shampoo' worth watching?
