Mischa Barton launched a no-holds-barred verbal attack by sharing a screenshot of the US Weekly report that claimed she would be replaced in Season 2 of MTV's 'The Hills: New Beginnings'.

The 34-year-old took to Instagram where she took a dig at The US Weekly. She reportedly took potshots at Caroline D'Amore, CEO of Pizza Girl Inc, a radio host on Dash Radio and producer of Vimeo's 'DJ Diaries with Caroline D’Amore'.

"As if anyone would watch @carolinedamore try to hoc (sic) her boring ass pasta bowls and greasy pizza on tv," Barton wrote and continued, "Tried that it was like watching paint dry. Get the story straight first. @usweekly."

A prompt response followed by D'Amore who replied: "Thank you for the sudden surge in @pizzagirlofficial sales this morning." She also uploaded an image with the response that saw her rocking lingerie and holding up a 'Pizza Girl' box. She went on to add, "#sellingout #notstoopingtoyourlevel @mischabarton REAL women don't bully other women."

D'Amore is currently the executive chef and co-owner of D'Amore's Pizza, a Los Angeles-based restaurant which was originally founded by her parents. Caroline is also the founder of a brand of sauces known as Pizza Girl and has three flavors — Marinara, Puttanesca and Vodka sauces.

The US Weekly report said Heidi Montag, Spencer Pratt, Whitney Port, Jason Wahler, Frankie Delgado, Brody Jenner and Kaitlynn Carter will all be returning, with Barton alone getting the boot. Series veteran, Montag admitted that Barton’s laid-back nature was a bit off-putting for the drama-filled bunch, which may have contributed to the actress being perceived as "boring", according to Page Six.

'The Hills: New Beginnings' will return for Season 2 sometime in 2020. Check your local listings for more information.
