'Million Dollar Beach House': What happened to $35M Marine Boulevard listing that Noel and Peggy fought over?
'Million Dollar Beach House' Episode 1 saw the first signs of tension between Peggy and Noel show when they visited the extravagant house at Marine Boulevard which has a $35 million listing. Noel thought that Peggy was being "all over the place" and she was annoyed with him for quoting a price of $35 million in the first place.
During Noel's birthday, they had a forcibly civil conversation about it, where he told her to get a "qualified" buyer and she felt that he was talking down to her. She accused him of doubting and insulting her. The animosity between them soon began to grow by leaps and bounds.
Things turned quickly sour in the second episode, after an incredibly bad showing of Marine Boulevard. Peggy was furious that Noel had walked in with sunglasses and said that he was "disrespectful" to her client, Justin. Peggy said she felt insulted by his behavior and called him the rudest client she had ever worked with. She also said that her client Justin had "almost walked" out, because of him.
Yet, we don't know whether Marine Boulevard, with its grand, spacious interiors, high ceilings and extravagant rooftops got sold after this fight. The listing had a potential commission of 825,000 dollars and would have made a hefty paycheck at the end of the day. Were Noel and Peggy able to see eye-to-eye after this and find a good buyer? That isn't addressed on the show. They might have lost Justin for certain, though.
Nevertheless, they had a face-off back in the office. Noel apologized for the first time and said that he had no problems with her and that she was a "rockstar". Yet, things took a turn for the worse in Episode 3 when Michael Fulfree let slip to Peggy that Noel didn't want her at the Blue Mars opening. There was a massive fight between the two as Peggy created a royal scene, later calling Noel a phony.
Tensions continued to simmer between them, and in Episode 6, it's clear that Peggy has decided to operate on her own, and is even resorting to stealing co-agent Jimmy's clients from him without his knowledge, which will lead to further unrest in the group. 'Million Dollar Beach House' is streaming on Netflix.
