'Million Dollar Beach House': Will Peggy's hunger to bag the $32M listing of Duck Pond tear the team apart?
Tempers are going to flare on 'Million Dollar Beach House'. Over the course of the summer, Peggy Zabakolas Esq has managed to have several fights with Noel Roberts, in public as well as in private. After an incredibly bad showing at Marine Boulevard, the agents squabbled in office and later Peggy heard from Michael Fulfree that Noel did not want her around at the open house of Blue Mars hotel. A furious Peggy confronted him and created a royal scene, after which, Michael tried to solve the tensions within the team but she retreated into her shell as she said that everyone was turning on her.
Peggy has been true to her word, and now she is no longer a team player. At the end of Episode 6, Peggy is trying to strike a deal with the builder and developer, Yale Fishman, and get the listing for his luxurious Duck Pond. Yale has worked with agent Jimmy Giugliano in the past. However, Peggy says while she feels "bad" about talking to him without Jimmy knowing, she says it's plain business.
There's a reason why the agents are vying for Duck Pond. The listing price is $32,000,000 and it is a 16,000-square feet area with nine beds and 14 bathrooms. It's a traditional Hamptons mansion with high ceilings and has every amenity possible. There is a basketball court with a gym, a 30-foot swimming pool, billiards room, wine cellar, jacuzzi, fireplace, sauna, steam room as well as a massage room. A tennis court is going to be built as well. As Yale explains to Peggy, it's an area, where the billionaires of the world reside, and he doesn't really need a broker. Yet, he's interested in Peggy as she has shown her assertion and "hunger". Peggy promises to use her huge clientele to her best advantage, as she has contacts all over the world. Yale has said that everyone has asked him for this listing, and he hasn't given it to everyone. He said he will think about it. If she closes the deal with him, this means prosperous business for the company, and Peggy would shoot her way up the real-estate agent scene.
At the end of the episode, JB says that if they make Yale happy, then they have the opportunity to get the big listing at Duck Pond. Little do they know that Peggy is already vying for it, and she just might have sealed the deal. At the moment, Netflix has released only six episodes of the series, so we just have to wait and see to know what drama will brew between the real estate agents.
