Pop sensation Miley Cyrus is all set to drop her seventh studio album in the form of ‘Plastic Hearts.’ The album which was earlier titled ‘She is Miley Cyrus’ will hit the Internet on November 27, 2020, and with an intention to spread the word she has already treated her fans to two bangers from her latest record, ‘Midnight Sky’ and ‘Prisoner’ featuring Dua Lipa.

The 28-year-old American singer-songwriter got a thundering response on her single ‘Midnight Sky’ which was released in mid-August. The disco-infused electropop number secured the numero uno spot on United Kingdom's airplay for good four weeks which made ‘Midnight Sky’ Miley’s first UK Top 10 single since 2017 and it also debuted here at number 14 on the Billboard Hot 100 at the time of the release. The song soon became a hot topic of discussion among social media users since the release date of the track also coincided with the news of the ‘Wrecking Ball’ hitmaker’s breakup with Australian singer, Cody Simpson. The news of their breakup came just hours ahead of the premiere of the song 'Midnight Sky’ and it was unclear as to what led to the breakup.

Since the album is almost here, we are wondering if Miley Cyrus will address her break-up with Cody Simpson and with former lovers Liam Hemsworth and Kaitlynn Carter in her new songs. Many speculated that the lyrics of ‘Midnight Sky’ also point towards a relationship where she wants to get free and nothing can hold her back. “I was born to run, I don't belong to anyone, oh no/ I don't need to be loved by you (by you)/ Fire in my lungs, can't bite the devil on my tongue, oh no/ I don't need to be loved by you.”

Miley Cyrus first dated Australian actor Liam Hemsworth. The duo was first linked together in 2008 when they were both roped-in for the film adaptation of the Nicholas Sparks’ novel ‘Last Song’. Since then Miley and Liam had an on and off relationship before getting engaged in 2012. However, not all was well in paradise as they soon broke things off the following year, only to reconcile in 2015. They eventually got married in December 2018 but unfortunately, the marriage lasted less than a year, as they decided to call it quits in August 2019.

Hours after the story broke and before the fans could digest the news, photos of Cyrus kissing Brody Jenner’s ex Kaitlynn Carter went viral but the highly-publicized relationship didn't last longer than a month. The American songstress then went on to date Cody Simpson, the Australian singer-performer and her friend of 10 years. However, soon things went south and the couple parted their ways after being together for 10 months.

In an interview with French radio station NRJ, Cyrus spoke about ‘Plastic Hearts’ saying, “It’s like I feel something. I experience it. I write it. I release it. When you write a record, a lot of the time you’re writing your experiences, and then by the time the record comes out, you’ve evolved past that experience.” Now, since the song ‘Midnight Sky’ has already hyped the fans, we will have to wait and watch what the entire album has in store.
