Two legends are donning their boxing gloves once again to give the world some swashbuckling action. Mike Tyson faces off against Roy Jones Jr. on Saturday night. Tyson will be taking the ring again against former four-weight world champ Roy Jones and the former has a string of records coming into this bout. The fight was finalized after a two-month negotiation between Tyson and Evander Holyfield failed to come to a deal. The formal announcement of Tyson vs Jones. Jr was made on July 23.

The fight was initially scheduled for September 12 with pro boxers taking the undercard slots. However, there was another announcement in August that the fight was pushed to November to increase revenue for the clash. Jones had his last fight in 2018 with a win over Scott Sigmon via unanimous decision at the Bay Center In Pensacola, Florida. Tyson retired in 2005.

Both Tyson and Jones are in agreement fighters to eight 2-minute rounds and no headgear for the exhibition fight. According to Techradar, the fight will be scored by celebrity judges remotely, and they reckon that the scores are purely for entertainment, and a winner won't be announced.

“I can’t tell you how to do it. It’s going to probably look wrong, so I know if I try to tell you it’s going to sound wrong, but it’s going to turn out right trust me,“ Jones said, while Tyson was optimistic about his chances as well. “I’m pitching punches. Everything else is up to Roy. I’m coming at him. He doesn’t have to worry about me. If I’m running anywhere, I’m going to run right at him,” Tyson opined
