'My expiry date is close': Mike Tyson makes a shocking admission about his health
'The Baddest man on the Planet' Mike Tyson once seemed unstoppable in the ring but now he appears convinced that his time on Earth is running out. The 56-year-old has recently been reflecting on his life. As part of a bigger conversation on financial stability and money's influence on happiness, Tyson shared his views about his mortality with his therapist Sean McFarland during an interview for the 'Hotboxin' With Mike Tyson' podcast.
Tyson holds the distinction of being one of the youngest boxers to have won a heavyweight title, taking home his first trophy at the age of 20 years, four months, and 22 days. He was also the first heavyweight boxer to successfully win the WBA, WBC, and IBF belts in succession, making him the undisputed boxing champion of the ring

Tyson hasn't had a particularly significant moment of public reflection in a while, nor has he talked about his impending demise before. Tyson spoke to McFarland and another visitor DJ Whoo Kid. He said that, "we're all going to die one day, of course. Then, when I see those tiny dots on my face in the mirror, I say, 'Wow. That means that my expiry date is almost approaching.'"
Is Mike Tyson sick?
Reportedly, Iron Mike had once said that it is difficult for him to "remain in control" because his head acts as a "torture dungeon." Mike Tyson states that when he meditates, he "dies," and that using animal and plant medicines gives him "holy emotions." He has also openly shared about his mental illness and how it affected him.
Throughout the podcast he talks about how money means nothing to him and then he said: "I always tell people — they think money’s gonna make them happy; they’ve never had a lot of money before. When you have a lot of money, you can’t expect anybody to love you. How am I gonna love you? How am I gonna confess my love to you when you have $500 billion?" He continued: "You believe that you’re invincible when you have a lot of money, which isn’t true."

"I 'died' during my first trip," Tyson told The New York Post. "... I did it as a dare I was doing heavy drugs like cocaine, so why not? It’s another dimension. Before I did the toad, I was a wreck. Tyson added: "The toughest opponent I ever faced was myself. I had low self-esteem. People with big egos often have low self-esteem. We use our ego to subsidize that. The toad strips the ego."
