Mike Sorrentino certainly wants the world to witness the happiest day of his life as he revealed that his upcoming wedding will be aired for the world to see on an episode of the second season of 'Jersey Shore Family Vacation.' On the forthcoming second season, the reality star revealed that audiences will witness him tie the knot with his fiancée Lauren Pesce via a Twitter message, when a user tweeted, “I wonder if Mike @ItsTheSituation and @lauren_pesce wedding will be Televised! I really hope so!”

Sorrentino responded by saying “Yes!!" post which he added, "Season 2 of #JSFamilyvacation 👰💍🤵,=” The entire cast of the show, including Vinny Guadagnino, Deena Cortese and Pauly DelVecchio, were spotted filming the new season in New Jersey towards the end of June, People reported.

On a recent episode of 'Jersey Shore Family Vacation', 'The Situation' proposed to his longtime sweetheart. 35-year-old Sorrentino had earlier talked about how he really wanted to put a ring on Lauren, who he has known for more than fifteen years.

He said at the time, "My dream was to have my proposal with all my best friends around me and I have that. I just need them all the focus and help me get through this so I can do this proposal without a hitch. "

His 'Jersey Shore' fam also was in on the plan with co-star Pauly D playing the DJ and Vinny Guadagnino taking care of the slides. The rest of the cast members helped with setting up the mood taking care of the interiors that is said to have had candles and roses as well as balloons.

His proposal prep began with him taking her on a dinner date and then when they got back home, he got down on one knee and said, "I fell in love with you because you loved me when I could've even love myself. You're my best friend, my college sweetheart, my better half, you make me a better person. Please make me the happiest man on earth, will you please marry me?"

She said yes and they celebrated with Lauren's favorite meal - rainbow cookies. This was a very emotional moment for the whole house and they laughed and cried together. The date for the big day hasn't been set yet but Lauren hopes it happens soon.

She said, "I waited a long time for this. Wedding time. Baby time." Sorrentino felt like it was a victory. "The odds were against me. People bet against me. But against all odds, she's been there through all the ups and downs, the good times and the bad."

The two have certainly been through thick and thin. "The past year I've wanted to propose. I've had this court situation kind of holding me back. And now it's here and I'm ready," he said.

Sorrentino is facing up to five years in prison, after failing to pay tax on his $8.9 million earnings. He is currently on probation. After he pled guilty,  US Attorney Carpenito said, "What the defendants admitted to today, quite simply, is tantamount to stealing money from their fellow taxpayers. All of us are required by law to pay our fair share of taxes. Celebrity status does not provide a free pass from this obligation."

"Lauren is the light at the end of my tunnel. Lauren is everything. Lauren is my best friend. She is my soulmate. She is my better half and knowing that I found that, I'm willing to face anything in life," he said.

Sorrentino recently spoke to People about his upcoming wedding and all the wedding planning that must be going on, and he replied that he and his “queen” Pesce are “full steam ahead” with the wedding preparations. “We are excited to bring the fans along to see the wedding planning process,” he said.

The second season of the show is slated to take place in Las Vegas, since cast member Ronnie Ortiz-Magro was recently pictured flying from Nevada to New Jersey with his daughter to resume filming. This comes after the latest episode hinted that Ronnie considered going to rehab and it was all thanks to his roommate Sorrentino.

It all started when Jenni “JWoww” Farley blasted Sorrentino when he claimed that Ronnie needed to go to rehab. “When I like to drink, I like to f—ing party,” Ronnie said in the episode. “I didn’t make it my life. You made it your life. You let it affect your whole life, you let it destroy your life. So don’t sit here and f—ing say I need rehab. Look at you! You f—ing got a tax evasion, you almost lost everything you f—ing earned.”

Watching how Ronnie reacted to this, Sorrentino could not control himself and spilled more than he was expected to in front of the camera. “Did you not call me two weeks before we came here and say you needed rehab?” he said.  “No, I said I needed help,” said Ronnie. “My rehab is different from your rehab.” To this, Sorrentino argued, “Rehab is rehab."

This was the last straw for Ronnie as he tried to swallow his anger. “You put people’s dirt out there — you have to bring it in the house,” he said. “I don’t have a problem. I help myself. You never helped yourself. Lauren helps you now. I take care of f—ing Jen, I take care of my kid, and her f—ing kid. F—ing facts, end of the f—ing story, bottom line. So don’t ever f—ing say I need help.”

The two men then hugged it out once they cooled down and admitted that both of them had taken things too low.
