VP debate 2020: Did Mike Pence get botox? Internet says he 'can't feel fly' sitting on head after cosmetic surgery
While the one and only Vice Presidential debate were underway on Wednesday, October 7, many of the viewers of the face-off between incumbent Vice President Mike Pence and Democratic nominee Kamala Harris could not help but wonder if President Donald Trump's running mate was using botox.
The unproven inference was drawn by many who criticized the vice president for having an uncannily smooth forehead which only wrinkled when he gave a facial expression. Despite there being no official record of Pence ever having had any type of facial surgery or botox treatments. While he did show emotion from time to time during the debate, his normally resting face failed to create any creases on his forehead.
In addition, Pence had a fly sitting on his head for quite a few minutes and did not seem to budge from his hair despite him turning his face to answer questions during the debate. Moreover, it also amused the TV-watching audience that Pence did not acknowledge the fly in the time that it sat on him, leading many to deduce that he had, in fact so many cosmetic procedures performed on him that he did not feel the fly on his head.
"This man @Mike_Pence got so much Botox he can’t feel the fly that is straight-up taking up residence on his dome," tweeted one user, while another one said, "What is Mike Pence’s skin care routine tho? It’s botox right??" A third chimed in with, "Is anyone talking about Mike Pence’s commitment to Botox?" And someone else added, "Mike Pence’s Botox is working overtime tonight"
Another user commented, "Whatever botox mike pence has pumped into his face needs to be recalled he is expressionless the only thing moving is his mouth it's scary." While one opined, "@Mike_Pence srs question here. Where do u get ur botox/fillers done," another user remarked, "This is what mike pence would look like if he didn’t get botox" One more person wrote, "Hi I’m Mike Pence, Let me tell you about Botox .. His face does not move....."
A person said, "White witch just got that Botox re-up @Mike_Pence" while another said, "Yo who did your Botox it’s pretty good work @Mike_Pence"

Pence was not the only person who had been thought to undergo cosmetic procedures. Roasting Democratic Presidential nominee Joe Biden, President Donald Trump reportedly told a group of his supporters that Biden wears a mask to hide his “plastic surgery.” "I'll be honest, he feels good about that mask, and that's OK," Trump said of Biden. "I mean honestly, what the hell did he spend all that money on the plastic surgery if he's going to cover it up with a mask."
At the time, the POTUS also claimed that Biden had a “face-lift." The former vice president chose not to comment on his opponent's attacks on his appearance. Also, in Biden's case too, there have been no reports in the past to suggest that he has had undergone any cosmetic procedures or that he had plans to.
