BLUE SPRINGS, MISSOURI: Michelle Audo, a 48-year-old Missouri mother, was attacked by teenage girls who had shown up outside her home to fight her 16-year-old daughter. The attack that happened on May 14 left Audo with a concussion, a broken nose, and two black eyes.

Audo told The Kansas City Star that she and her husband were asleep when their daughters, ages 16 and 18, woke them up after 10:30 pm and said that a "carload of girls" were outside their home in Blue Springs, Missouri, wanting to fight the younger daughter. Audo went downstairs to tell them to leave, but the girls, who had arrived in a white sedan, refused to go and got aggressive while demanding the younger daughter face them.

The woman reportedly told them, "You guys just need to go. You know, she's not coming out." Audo said the girls replied, "Well, either she's coming out or we're coming in," after which she said, "No, you're not." Two girls reportedly jumped out of the car, and the one with blond hair hit her in the face.

As per the police report, "Ms. Audo stated the blonde female ended up on top of her and was continuing to strike her in the face with a closed fist," while the other girl having black hair, ended up "on top of Ms. Audo trying to help the blonde female." The elder daughter told police that she "pulled the black haired female off of Ms. Audo and then pulled off the blonde female."

According to the report, "Ms. Audo stated that when she stood up, the blonde female took a fighting stance and was moving toward her." Audo's husband reportedly took a cane and used it to bring the girl to the ground. The girls then got back inside the car and drove away. One of the girls allegedly posted Snapchats saying, "Imagine letting ur mom get her ass beat" and "Tell yo mom to come clean her blood off my window."

Audo revealed that the Blue Springs police told Audo that the two girls, who are reportedly aged 13 and 14, have been charged with "simple assault" and will be prosecuted through "youth court," but she doesn't agree and feels they should face severe charges and punishment for causing injuries that kept her from work for a week. "I was severely hurt. These girls seem to have zero regard for anybody. And to me, it seems like they think they can do whatever they want. And they get away with it," Audo told Kansas City Star. She also stated that while only two suspects have been named, there was at least one other girl that night in the car.

Two week have passed since the allegedly unprovoked attack but Audo is still to hear from either the girls or their parents. Making matters more murky, when the police spoke to the two suspects, one of the girls said Audo “came to the side of the car and swung” at her and this was why the teen hit her in return. The other suspect who allegedly got on top of Audo, said she was knocked to the ground and "felt as if she was assaulted.” When the teen suspects were asked why they didn't bother calling the police, one of them said that she thought she “would be in trouble” if she had done so.

"They think they are grown enough to beat up someone's mom, I think they need to pay the consequences. What's going to stop them from coming back? Or to do this to somebody else?" she asked. Blue Springs Police Chief, Bob Muenz said the case is still under investigation and is being handled by the juvenile unit.
