It's an NL vs AL East matchup on Tuesday at Marlins Park when Miami host the struggling Boston Red Sox for a three-game series. The Marlins won 5-2 of what was a lengthy seven-game series against the Philadelphia Phillies and will be looking to consolidate when they take on Red Sox. The latter is coming off a 2-1 loss to the Tampa Bay Rays and will be playing for pride. Here's everything you need to know ahead of the game.

Time

The game is slated to start at 6:40 pm ET on Tuesday, September 15.

Venue

The action is all set to unfold at Marlins Park, the home turf of Miami.

Where to watch?

The game can be caught live on NESN and Fox Sports-F. Fans can listen to the live commentary on WEEI 93.7, WCCM 1490 AM/103.7 FM, 940 AM WINZ, and WAQI 710 AM.

How to live stream?

Fans can catch the game on MLB.TV as well as the My Stream App. MLB.TV is still the most preferred app as it comes with a slashed price of $59.99 keeping in mind the shortened season. A complete subscription provides viewers with access to the full regular season, the playoffs, and the World Series. Other options that viewers can look for is YouTube TV that gives access to ESPN, ESPN2, Fox, FS1, MLB Network, and TBS at $64.99. Hulu and fuboTV have some similar options available.

Pre-game buzz

Sandy Alcantara will be the starting pitcher for Miami. At the moment, Alcantara is running at 3.97 ERA and 1.24 WHIP in 22.2 innings of work. This means he's hit the straps pretty well and will look to continue to do the job for Miami. After their seven-game run against the Philadelphia Phillies, the home side will be confident in taking on strugglers, Red Sox.

Their defense has been their weakness and with the season pretty much done for the side, they will be looking at taking as many wins as they can. All eyes will be on the pitcher, Tanner Houck who gets to meet his big-league debut.

Who will win?

The Marlins are favored to take this series as well. Their home record reads 7-11 and the Red Sox has a 9-14 away record to their name. Plus they have been quite a bit of a disappointment this season. We'll be looking at Marlins to wrap this up.
