Mia Farrow says Woody Allen 'weaponized' adopted daughter Soon-Yi Previn and son against her: 'I love her'
On Sunday, March 14, Mia Farrow spoke her heart out about her estranged kids, especially daughter Soon-Yi Previn, who is now married to Farrow’s former partner -- Woody Allen. The 76-year-old actress accused Allen of weaponizing her children against her on the fourth and final episode of the HBO docu-series ‘Allen v. Farrow’. Farrow and Allen were together for several years before separating in 1992 after her daughter Dylan accused him of sexual assault and the film director disclosed his affair with Previn.
Mia said, “He's weaponized two of my children that he's turned against me.” By two children, she meant her 50-year-old daughter Soon-Yi and son Moses Farrow. As per reports, the ‘Rosemary's Baby’ star was a mother of seven children before meeting Allen. She and her ex-husband André Previn had adopted Soon-Yi. "They are all people I loved with all my heart. They are all people that I would've laid down my life for. I love Soon-Yi. It took me six years to throw away the Christmas stocking I knitted for her thinking she would come back, but she didn't,” she added.

Mia also went on to claim that Allen's alleged sexual assault on Dylan has not only affected her family, but also her and her trust in other men. "I never brought [dates or significant others] home because I didn't want to risk anybody falling for one of my beautiful children or grandchildren. If I couldn't trust Woody after 12 years, I would never take another risk with anybody else," she said. "I don't trust myself to know. How would you know? I don't know. So I never brought them home,” ‘The Great Gatsby 1974’ star added.
Previously in the docu-series, Mia had regretted bringing Allen into her family. She had said, “It's my fault. I brought this guy into my family. There's nothing I can do to take that away." The 85-year-old and his current wife Soon-Yi are not part of the series, but in February, they condemned it. A spokesperson for the pair said, “These documentarians had no interest in the truth. Instead, they spent years surreptitiously collaborating with the Farrows and their enablers to put together a hatchet job riddled with falsehoods. Woody and Soon-Yi were approached less than two months ago and given only a matter of days ‘to respond.’ Of course, they declined to do so. As has been known for decades, these allegations are categorically false. Multiple agencies investigated them at the time and found that, whatever Dylan Farrow may have been led to believe, absolutely no abuse had ever taken place. It is sadly unsurprising that the network to air this is HBO – which has a standing production deal and business relationship with Ronan Farrow. While this shoddy hit piece may gain attention, it does not change the facts.”
Meanwhile, another report had stated that Allen offered to pay Dylan's brother, Ronan Farrow’s college expenses to speak against Mia. In the docu-series, the Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist and author said, “For example, he made funding my college education contingent on me speaking out in his support publicly. The offer always stood that if I were willing to publicly go against my mother and my sister that he would offer financial support, support for my education, and perhaps a comfortable life."
