Six-week-old girl dies of methamphetamine toxicity after being breastfed by drug addict mother
35-year-old Brandi Froeba was arrested for second-degree murder in the 2018 death of her six-week-old daughter Daisy Marie Froeba who tested positive for methamphetamine
A mother in Louisiana has been accused of killing her infant daughter after she breastfed the child while she had drugs in her system.
35-year-old Brandi Froeba was arrested for second-degree murder in the 2018 death of her six-week-old child last summer, the Kenner Police Department announced in a press release on March 9. The authorities began investigating the mother on August 16 last year when she called 911 to report that her infant was unresponsive.
An online obituary in The New Orleans Advocate stated that the child was named Daisy Marie Froeba. PEOPLE reported that the responding officers to the home found the infant had stopped breathing and immediately rushed her to the hospital where she was pronounced dead.
