'Star-studded cast': Fans go gaga over first look photos of Apple TV+ series 'Extrapolations'

Featuring a star-studded cast including Meryl Streep and Kit Harrington, this series tells intimate, unanticipated climate change stories

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Meryl Streep recently everyone's jaw drop when it was announced she joined the cast of Selena Gomez starring series, 'Only Murders in the Building'. However, she is on a roll as the first look photos of her new apple tv series recently dropped and the least to say, the cast is looking absolutely stunning. Streep who is particularly known for her versatility and accent adaptability is seen with a book in her hand. However, she is not the only one as the streaming giant dropped photos of the rest of the cast. 

'Extrapolations' is an anthology drama series created by Scott Z. Burns for Apple TV+. The series is set to premiere on March 17, 2023. Furthermore, this anthology series depicts the effects of climate change on the planet through various different points of view through interconnected stories. Initially, the series which was greenlit for ten episodes, would now only run for an eight-episode season.

The streaming site's official Twitter page recently posted a picture of Meryl Streep and captioned it, "Featuring a star-studded cast including Meryl Streep and Kit Harrington, this series tells intimate, unanticipated stories of how climate change can affect love, faith, work and family. 'Extrapolations' premieres March 17 on Apple TV+."

However, after the first look photos dropped online. it is safe to say fans went berserk seeing the star-studded cast. A fan said, "Superhero actors galore," while another wrote, "Holy star studded cast." A fan wrote, "CHRISTOPHER NOLAN HAS NOTHING ON THIS CAST," while a fan shared, "Thanks for this GEM! Can't wait." Lastly, a fan commented, "SO EXCITED TO SEE MY BAE @eizamusica," while another said, "Meryl’s fans right now."

Featuring a coveted ensemble cast in Kit Harington ('Game of Thrones'), Meryl Streep ('Only Murders in the Building'), Edward Norton ('Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery'), David Schwimmer ('Friends'), Marion Cotillard ('Inception'), Gemma Chan ('Don't Worry Darling'), Murray Bartlett ('The Last of Us'), Daveed Diggs ('Snowpiercer'), Tobey Maguire ('Babylon'), Michael Gandolfini ('Daredevil: Born Again') and Sienna Miller ('Anatomy of a Scandal'), this eight-episoder is written and directed by Scott Z Burns from 'Contagion'.
