Aaron Carter’s lover Melanie Martin was 'sobbing' after she saw bath 'with green water' that he died in
'Melanie was in a lot of pain. She was crying and sobbing, it was so hard for her, my heart broke for her,' a friend claimed
LANCASTER, CALIFORNIA: The on-off fiancée of Aaron Carter, Melanie Martin, was reportedly inconsolable when she saw the bathtub in which the singer died. She also wanted to see the body but the officers present at the scene did not allow her “because of its condition,” a friend of Aaron claimed.
The ‘I'm All About You’ singer died on Saturday, November 5, at his Lancaster home in California. His friend Gary Madatyan revealed to The Sun that he arrived at Aaron's house after receiving a heartbreaking message from Martin that read, “I need you by my side.” He said, “I was at another friend's house on Saturday and got a call saying Aaron had passed. I was totally shocked, I couldn't stop crying. It was so devastating and painful.”
“I decided to drive to Lancaster and contacted Melanie. She said, 'I need you by my side'. I drove there, we hugged and cried. Melanie wanted me and her to say goodbye to him, to his body, but the sheriffs said it wasn’t a good idea because of its condition. We heard he had been dead in the tub for at least a couple of hours. We didn't get into the house until after the body was taken out,” Madatyan explained.
The 45-year-old celebrity stylist also stated: “I have been into the house before, it was terrible walking inside again. Melanie was in a lot of pain. She was crying and sobbing, it was so hard for her, my heart broke for her. It was all so shocking, we could not believe it. We hugged and I tried to comfort her,” before adding, “She looked in the bathroom and started crying when she saw the bath. The water in the bath was green. It was just horrible, thinking he had died there alone.”
The 30-year-old Martin is the mother of a toddler son Prince, who he had with Aaron. It has been said that at present, she has been coping with the tragedy with her family members in Lake Forest, California. Meanwhile, Madatyan had been friends with the ‘I Want Candy’ singer for a decade. They reportedly connected with each other at a Hollywood function.
Madatyan noted: “He was going to a red carpet event with Madison, his ex, also my friend. We hit it off and got friendly. I did his styling and his hair after that. He was making a song called ‘Sooner or Later,’ he brought some keyboards to my house in LA and I told him it would be a hit. He was a talented guy. I later heard it on the radio and I was so proud and pleased for him. I called him about it and he said, 'Oh my God, I can't believe it!' I'm so grateful I have such fond and positive memories of him.”
The official cause of Aaron’s death is yet to be discovered but his close ones and friends apparently believe that he died because of drug addiction and mental health issues. Madatyan told The Sun: “He was never suicidal. I just wish he did not die alone. I don’t think him being alone was good for him. I wish Melanie was there, or anyone. If he wasn't alone, it wouldn't have happened. We've just got to wait for the coroner's report to find out what really happened.”
