Melania will dominate Donald Trump in their marriage now that ‘tide is turning’, claims body language expert

Bruce Durham, a body language expert, also said that the former first couple won’t be divorcing each other

A body language expert has reportedly predicted that Melania and Donald Trump won’t be separating from each other, discarding the earlier rumors that the former model was “counting every minute” until she could divorce the Republican. The rumors surged after Trump lost the 2020 presidential election to President Joe Biden. However, Bruce Durham has said that the pair will continue together and Melania will dominate Trump in their marriage as “the tide is turning”, express.co.uk reported.

After seeing the recent footage of the Trumps, which was shown to him by the Daily Mirror, Durham stated, “Is she ready to leave as the stage show is coming to an end and she feels that she does not need to play that character anymore? Well, from a baseline body language analysis perspective, the tide is turning, something is shifting, and it would not be a surprise that if she didn’t leave him, she takes on a more powerful and formidable role in the relationship moving forward. And good on her I say!"

The expert’s comments came after Trump along with his family left the White House and moved to Palm Beach’s Mar-a-Lago resort. Reports have also stated that Melania was searching for a separate place in the town after shifting to Florida. Louisa Whitney, from LKW Family Mediation — legal services in Dorking, England — commented on that and said, “she might also want to be setting up an identity for herself in her own right. It can be hard I think for anyone separating to establish themselves as just that person rather than part of a couple — especially if their partner was more high-profile, more outgoing or better-known than them."

Durham also analyzed footage of the Inauguration Freedom Ball in 2017. The clip showed Melania and Trump dancing together. He said in the clip the 45th president “looks uncomfortable” and added, “Now, we all have a relative who ‘dances like a grandad’ way before his time (I put myself in that bracket) but Donald is truly uncomfortable in this situation. In Psychology, we talk about Individualised Zone of Optimum Function – when you are in ‘the zone’ or have hit your sweet spot of performance. In this dance, we see a glimpse into the fundamental lack of emotional connectivity surrounding Donald. Yes, he is great with numbers but as often with people like this, they can often struggle with the human connection.”

Durham said of the video that it seemed Melania was “trying to guide Donald into having a simple dance”. “What makes this quite humorous, akin to Fawlty Towers, is that Donald is sublimely unaware that he looks uncomfortable or that he is out of his depth,” he concluded.

Meanwhile, a previous report claimed that the former first lady is planning to vanish from the public eye after her husband lost the presidential election. R Couri Hay, a society publicist, said, “Melania will disappear. There's not going to be any Instagram posts or Twitter posts, you're not going to see it. Melania is not a political activist any more than she is a social activist. When she married Donald Trump, that was the top of the ladder for her." The publicist also added, “The likelihood is 99.99 percent they will stay together. I’d truly be shocked if Melania formally separated and divorced from her husband. She grew up in a pseudo-communist difficult life. When she married, she wanted stability, romantic stability, financial stability, and through it all the one thing still standing is that marriage.”
