Will Melania divorce Donald Trump after President-elect Joe Biden's win? Ex-aide claims they got a ‘transactional marriage’
President Donald Trump lost the election but is he about to lose his wife too? Melania and Donald's cold gestures towards each other are not new. Right from the first lady rolling eyes on him, to them having a separate bedroom in the White House, their love story or rather their "transactional marriage" remains in question, according to a close aide.
Melania is famously said to have burst into tears when Trump became the President of the United States in 2016, with one friend, saying: "She never expected him to win. She waited five months before moving from New York to Washington, allegedly because the couple's son Barron needed to finish school."
But her former aide, Stephanie Wolkoff alleged Melania was negotiating a post-nuptial agreement to give Barron an equal share of Trump's fortune. Wolkoff claimed that the couple had separate bedrooms in the White House and "a transactional marriage."
Fellow ex-aide Omarosa Manigault Newman claimed the couple's 15-year marriage was over, said, "Melania is counting every minute until he is out of the office and she can divorce. If Melania were to try to pull the ultimate humiliation and leave while he's in office, he would find a way to punish her."
Despite some really frosty moments in public, 50-year-old Melania claims she has 'a great relationship' with her husband. Meanwhile, he insists that they never argue. Trump's prenup agreement with second wife Marla Maples limits her from publishing any book or giving interviews critical of him. Lawyer Christina Previte said it was likely Melania had agreed to a similar code of silence.
As soon as the statements came in light, the Internet started talking about it, as one Internet user said, "How long until Melania divorces Trump ?... I reckon one week." While another one said, "She secretly voted for Biden and you can’t change my mind". Another one wrote, "Melania revised her Prenup when Trump became president I completely believe shes going to divorce him. She never wanted to be first lady to begin with." Making a bizarre statement another one wrote, "Bet that when Melania divorces Trump, Pelosi is definitely going to be the replacement."
