Melania Trump seems to find Barack Obama extremely charming, as former POTUS has FLOTUS beaming
First Lady Melania Trump was spotted smiling with former President Barack Obama as they were spotted sitting beside each other at former first lady Barbara Bush's funeral on Saturday.
Reports state that Melania, however, did not appear to share the same warm moments with Clintons who were also sitting nearby as seen in a video footage of the event.
The procession video reportedly showed the first lady sitting solo beside Barack Obama and Michelle Obama as Bill Clinton and Hillary Clinton sat in the furthest corner of the row.
In one still, Melania and Barack appear to share a joke or something comical while Michelle looks on patiently. The former president then chuckles and says something back to Melania Trump, while she just smiles.
The First Lady arrived in Houston on Saturday for the funeral service without President Donald Trump, who was in Palm Beach, according to reports.
Melania Trump also took to Twitter to pay her tribute to the former first lady Barbara Bush and posted a picture of her portrait in the White House.
Melania wrote: "What a beautiful tribute to a wonderful woman who lived for God, family and country."
Reports state President Trump did not attend the procession to "avoid disruptions due to added security," reports state. A sitting president missing funeral procession of such high profile people is not uncommon, as Obama also chose to not attend the funerals of Nancy Reagan and Betty Ford during his presidential term.
Trump, instead, headed to the golf course on Saturday, however, he left a tweet mentioning the Barbara Bush event, saying: "Heading to the Southern White House to watch the Funeral Service of Barbara Bush. First Lady Melania has arrived in Houston to pay our respects. Will be a beautiful day!"
