While they might not have the most traditional marriage, including sleeping in separate bedrooms among other things, but Melania Trump has been instrumental in improving husband Donald Trump's image in the public, especially when it comes to being photographed.

In a soon-to-be-released book called 'The Art of Her Deal: The Untold Story of Melania Trump', author Mary Jordan has revealed that being a former model, the first lady has been secretly guiding the POTUS on the most flattering way to pose for the cameras. Apart from helping him appear slimmer and more defined, the FLOTUS also stage-manages many of his important state dinners with foreign dignitaries at the White House.

“Before a photoshoot, she has been heard telling Trump to slightly lift and extend his chin,” the book reveals. “At the 2018 state dinner she organized for the French president Emmanuel Macron and his wife, Brigitte, she was overheard ‘stage-managing’ Trump’s movements, as one person described it. Melania also installed professional lights in a White House room where the Trumps take many of their official photos.”

According to an excerpt of the book obtained by Daily Mail, the mother-of-one is often heard telling the president that he can "tighten and define his facial muscles by placing his tongue on the roof of his mouth," which will also make his face look slimmer. However, if Trump appears bloated or tired in his public appearances, it is not due to Melania's lack of trying as the president often does not follow the advice of his wife. On other occasions, when it has been “up to him” as a student to remember and deliver on the lessons, he has failed in executing them with perfection.

Meanwhile, Daily Beast reported that according to the book, Melania has also had a hand in revamping her own reputation in the media after entering the White House, as semi-nude photos of the FLOTUS or pictures of her wearing skimpy clothing from her modeling days have been mysteriously scrubbed from the internet. The last time a media outlet got their hands on some of Melania's more salacious photos was the New York Post, which republished nude photos of Melania from a 1996 shoot with the French magazine Max in July 2016, months before the election day.

“It is not clear why they seem to have vanished, but celebrities often hire 'reputation managers' to remove or bury unflattering or embarrassing photos and stories,” she adds. “Several photographers who were hired to shoot Melania wearing bikinis, lingerie, or less say that they have been warned by people representing Trump not to print or sell the photos.”

Jordan spoke to Matthew Atanian, a roommate of Melania’s in the ’90s and a photographer, who said that “he was warned not to publish photos he snapped around in their apartment, even though, in his opinion, Melania looks great in them.” Also, British GQ editor, Dylan Jones said the Trump campaign has unsuccessfully tried to get the magazine to stop using nude photos it took of Melania in 2000 for a “Bond Girl”-themed issue. He mocked the request by saying it was “obviously the dumbest thing to do because it just encourages me to publish.”
