Mel B keeps a piece of surgically removed skin tattooed with ex-husband Stephen Belafonte's name in a jar
Mel B admits she just wanted to 'feel fresh and new again and untouched by that person' and a lot of the surgery had to do with 'getting out of the abusive relationship'
Mel B seems to be holding on to a very painful piece of her past as the 43-year-old shared that she removed a tattoo of her former husband Stephen Belafonte's name from her ribs. She had the tattoo surgically removed and chose to keep the piece of skin in a jar above her wardrobe.
As reported by Metro UK, Mel B appeared for an interview on 'Loose Women' and shared, "I’ve saved it in a jar, which sounds a bit strange, I know. It’s at the top of my wardrobe. Nobody can see it, but I know it’s there and it’s off my body." She further explained how she had wanted the tattoo tribute removed from her body but was clear that she did not want to go through the usual laser removal treatment.
