'You’ve got to be kidding me’: Megyn Kelly lashes out at Vivek Ramaswamy for siding with Harvard students who signed ‘anti-Israel’ letter
NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: Former Fox News and NBC journalist Megyn Kelly thrashed GOP member Vivek Ramaswamy for apparently ‘siding’ with the Harvard student groups who “co-signed the anti-Israel letter”
The veteran member of the press took to X (formerly Twitter) to express her disappointment about Ramaswamy’s remark and stated that he needs to be clear on the Israel issue if he ever wants to be the President.
However, Ramaswamy who has been gunning for the Presidential ticket from the Republican Party for the elections next year, made it clear in his tweet that he condemns the actions of these Harvard student groups but is “blacklisting” them for making “dumb political statements” isn’t just.
Kelly was furious with the GOP hopeful who later clarified once again that he was truly against the decision of the Harvard student groups but not against ‘canceling’ them for exercising their freedom of decision.

Megyn Kelly slams Vivek Ramaswamy for siding with Harvard students
The biotech billionaire took to X to share his views on the ongoing reactions to the Israel-Hamas war in the United States.
He tweeted, “The Harvard student groups who co-signed the anti-Israel letter are simple fools. But it’s not productive for companies to blacklist kids for being members of student groups that make dumb political statements on campus.”
He continued, “Colleges are spaces for students to experiment with ideas & sometimes kids join clubs that endorse boneheadedly wrong ideas. I’ve been as vocal as anyone in criticizing left-wing cancel culture (see my first book “Woke, Inc.”), but it’s bad no matter who practices it. It wasn’t great when people wearing Trump hats were fired from work. It wasn’t great when college graduates couldn’t get hired unless they signed oppressive “DEI” pledges”
Ramaswamy further added, “And it’s not great now if companies refuse to hire kids who were part of student groups that once adopted the wrong view on Israel. This isn’t a legal point, it’s a cultural point. I say this as someone who vehemently disagrees with those Harvard student groups.”
He then concluded, “Those calling for blacklisting students right now are responding from a place of understandable hurt, but I’m confident that in the fullness of time, they will agree with me on the wisdom of avoiding these cancel-culture tactics.”
You’ve got to be kidding me. They sided with terrorists who murdered children and old women. You’re not clear on this as someone who wants to be president? https://t.co/656slMIQKL

Kelly who read Ramaswamy’s tweet didn’t waste any time responding. She called out the GOP hopeful for siding with the Harvard Student groups.
She re-posted Ramaswamy’s tweet and replied, “You’ve got to be kidding me. They sided with terrorists who murdered children and old women. You’re not clear on this as someone who wants to be president?”
Megyn Kelly and Vivek Ramaswamy get into a heated exchange over anti-Israel letter
Ramaswamy was quick to react to Kelly’s criticism of him. He once again came to his defense, clarifying that he was completely against the decision of the Harvard student groups but canceling them was not the right thing to do.
He replied, “Megyn, I was crystal clear that what the student groups said was dead wrong & you know that. But I don’t think it’s productive to hunt down individual members of college student groups for the purpose of blacklisting them. Persuasion is better than force, let’s stick to the principle”

Kelly wasn’t done either. She shot back with a befitting reply to Ramaswamy and reminded him that there is no other way around it as the companies “do not hire who applaud the killers.”
She tweeted, “If they are not “persuaded” that murdering babies is wrong, there is no “persuading” them. We don’t hire those who do the killing & we don’t hire those who applaud the killers while the savagery is underway. If you are open to hiring one of these lunatics, tho, good to know!”
