Michael Bay sexualized Megan Fox at 15; angry Internet cancels director over 2009 Jimmy Kimmel clip
Megan Fox has been in the news for her split with actor-husband Brian Austin Green after being married for over a decade. It started with rumors that Machine Gun Kelly and Fox were an item and soon after their relationship was confirmed by the rapper, who took to Twitter to announce the status. The 30-year-old shared the lyrics from his song ‘Bloody Valentine’ that read: "I’m calling you my girlfriend, what the f***. Life imitated art on that one," along with a heart emoji.
Now, the actress who is popular for her stint in 'Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles', has been trending for an old 2009 clip where she confesses how Michael Bay sexualized her when she was barely 15. The video first surfaced with a Twitter thread that read, "Clip from 2009 where Megan Fox tells a story about Michael Bay sexualizing her as a 15 y/o the crowd laughs, and Kimmel makes gross jokes teen girls being preyed on by older men has never been taken seriously and still isn’t." In 2007, Bay allegedly got Fox to audition for 'Transformers' by dressing her in a bikini and washing his Ferrari in his driveway. She first met Michael Bay when she was 15-years-old, as an extra in 'Bad Boys II'. He was 36.
Her tweet further said, "Woah I just woke up so let me say some things under this: already, there are comments from ppl defending both Jimmy and Michael, and victim-blaming Megan. All I have to say to that is u don’t deserve to be around women or girls," and continued, "Know that Bay is a repeat offender, this is just one article but his awful treatment of women has had virtually no effect on his career, bc as much as they pretend to thru performative activism, men in Hollywood do not care about women." The tweet soon grabbed many eyeballs and collected over 43,000 retweets and 132,000 likes. The viral clip generated one too many reactions and people couldn't stop talking about how Fox deserved better and how the 'Bad Boys' and 'Transformers' director needs to be canceled.

Another said, "I remember when Megan Fox came out against Michael Bay, the only person who got f***ed was her. Steven Spielberg decided to remove her from Dark of the Moon, while Bay got to direct 3 more Transformers movies. Megan Fox deserved better from Hollywood."
"Everybody failed Megan. It makes me so angry because she always has been outspoken about it and something should have been done but now feels like she can’t and it’s all so f***ed," one said. Another wrote, "So glad Michael Bay is trending. Always one of the grossest, creepiest men in the business. How he treated a 15-year-old Megan Fox is disgusting."
Not just that, when Fox previously said that Bay was a "nightmare to work for", his crew retaliated by called her the "queen of talking trailer trash and posing like a porn star" on Bay's website, according to a screenshot from a Twitter user. Slamming Bay, one Twitter user wrote, "Michael Bay ruined Megan Fox’s career, sexualized her at 15, and exploits women for his movies, and he’s somehow able to still be working and make his godawful movies no one likes to this day." Another said, "We all failed Megan Fox. I still remember it coming out that Michael Bay made her wash his car in a bikini for an audition and the high-five kind of reaction that got from men I knew."
