Celebs are choosing sides when it comes to the headline-making feud between Nicki Minaj and Cardi B, and Meek Mill is upset about it. In fact, he is using his own example to urge the two top female rappers to reconcile.

Recently, Meek Mill surprised fans by reconciling with Drake ending his years of feuding with the God's Plan rapper. The 31-year-old rapper, who is narrating his own story and using it as an inspiration, is helping the two rappers end their beef.

A source close to Meek said that he feels "horrible" about the fight between 35-year-old Nicki Minaj and 25-year-old Cardi B. “He has a lot of love and respect for both Nicki and Cardi and he would like to do whatever he can to help squash the feud. Meek was inspired by working on things with Drake and he feels like if he and Drake can set aside their differences and work together, then maybe he can help Cardi and Nicki do the same. Meek wants to play peacemaker in this hip-hop war because since his time in jail, his perspective on everything has changed, he wants to help now,” reports Hollywood Life.

Given his own recent dedication to bettering himself and his relationships with people around him, Mill could be the "peacemaker" the hip-hop world needs right now. Nicki and Cardi’s feud got pretty intense recently, after Cardi was injured trying to fight Nicki at the Harper’s Bazaar ICONS party during New York Fashion Week. Cardi took to social media to explain the reasons for her actions and claimed that Nicki was trash talking her daughter, Kulture. Nicki, however, denied the claim on her radio station, Queen Radio, and totally called out Cardi for lying.

While crediting Mill's intent to resolve the beef, let us not forget that he does have personal history with Nicki. The two shared a friendship for years before they started dating around 2015. At one point, there were even rumors swirling that they were engaged after Nicki showed off a heart-shaped ring. However, they split by January 2017. But still, he won't pick sides, he just wants peace. Blessed are the Meek as they say!
