Spoilers ahead for Season 2 Episode 7 'Tohil' of 'Mayans MC'

Episode seven of 'Mayans MC' was all about families, togetherness, and unity. At the beginning of the episode, we see Coco's (Richard Cabral) daughter Leticia (Emily Tosta) living with him in his place.

It had been a while since we saw Leticia on screen and this episode, she was also seen helping a friend of hers from school cross the border.

Leticia tells Coco that Gabriela's family — her mother and brother — are being held by another club that is acting as coyotes. Coco also sees the bruises Leticia got when she was dealing with the coyotes.

Still suspicious, Coco asks her what she was doing there. Offering moral support to Gabriela, she shares that despite giving them the promised amount for crossing borders, the coyotes started demanding more upon arriving at the destination.

She also tells him that when she told the coyotes that her dad is a Mayan, they only laughed and refused to let Gabriela's family go.

You don't come to the Mayans backyard and disrespect them like this. Coco takes this information to Bishop (Michael Irby) and tells him about this, who asks him why the Mayans should get involved.

Coco tells him that the coyotes are a Mexican MC called Vatos Malditos that usually runs their operations out of Tijuana and shouldn't be operating on this side of the border.

That is when it dawns upon Bishop that they had been spending so much time and energy concentrating on the Galindo deal that something like this had missed their attention.

He notes that the Mexican club is only greedy for money and doesn't respect the patch. Bishop ensures that the club starts working on this operation.

Angel (Clayton Cardenas), EZ (JD Pardo) and Coco go out investigating. While they don't retrieve any substantial information from their first source, EZ points out that if the coyotes have captured these many people, they would need to feed them.

And so, they split up to check on restaurants that make deliveries. EZ finds out the address that had five big deliveries in the previous week.

The rest of the Mayans join Angel, EZ and Coco outside the safehouse where the Mexican MC had held the captives. They manage to rescue some of the men and women the club had held, but Gabriela's mother and brother aren't here.

They are informed that the club had transported the immigrants closer to the border into cages. They arrive at the cages where Bishop has heart-to-heart with Angel and EZ.

"Do you know what separates us from all the other scumbags, gives us the courage to look into the mirror?" he asks them. "This f*****g piece of leather," he says pointing to his patch. "the history that hangs on it"

"It means I've earned the respect of men, men I love, men I'd die for. Men who'd die for me. The money, the weight, it can't lead. We have to serve something greater," he adds.

As the Mayans enter the building, there is chaos. After some gunfire, one of the Mexican club members starts a fire in order to kill all the immigrants. EZ manages to free them from the cage and just as they get out, the building goes up in flames.

The club has finally found Gabriela's family, who thank them for everything the Mayans have done. Family is first, after all. 'Mayans MC' airs on Tuesdays at 10 PM.
