'Mayans MC' Season 2 Episode 6 'Muluc' preview shows Emily might be in trouble for her bribery
Spoilers ahead for Season 2 Episode 5 'Xquic' of 'Mayans MC'
Last week's episode 'Xquic' ended in disappointment. Not only for Angel (Clayton Cardenas) but also fans because they were rooting for the two to get together after Adelita's (Carla Baratta) capture by Potter's (Ray McKinnon) mercenaries.
At the same time, Emily's (Sarah Bolger) visit to Felipe (Edward James Olmos) for answers about Dita (Ada Maris) and him, and their past together didn't give her what she was looking for. "This history, all it'll do is hurt the ones you love," Felipe tells her and that's pretty much the end of the discussion. He also asks her if Miguel (Danny Pino) knows about her coming here looking for answers. She says no, but the query just has definitely put doubt in her head and she is probably not going to let it go.
The promo for the next week's episode 'Muluc' shows El Padrino, aka Alvarez (Emilio Rivera), in trouble. We see him getting caught most likely by Potter's mercenaries. But the promo also shows the Galindo Cartel already working on it - with Miguel taking lead in the operation.
Elsewhere, it looks like Emily's plan of bribing Iliana, the woman Mayor's office, isn't going smoothly. "Should have never taken your filthy money," she tells Emily in the promo suggesting that she has invited trouble for herself over this.
"But you did. And now you owe me", an equally frustrated Emily tells her. When Emily had decided she was going to take this route to get to her means, Miguel had (ironically) warned her that it wasn't the best way, adding that he wanted her to keep her hands clean and not follow the ways of the Cartel - he knows how it goes. But she doesn't pay heed and still goes ahead with it.
We are yet to see how Adelita is rescued if she is rescued in time. Potter plans to wait out till her pregnancy and then use her newborn baby as leverage - he told her this in the last episode. Where does this lead us?
