NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: Taylor Swift and Matty Healy have apparently parted ways after a whirlwind one-month romance. The ‘Midnight Rain’ singer, 33, and The 1975 frontman, 34, had been linked since early May and were spotted in public together several times, including at Casa Cipriani in New York City, where the pair was spotted showing off some major PDA.

Although the pair has yet not addressed their romance, a source close to them told ET that they decided to split up because “they realized they're not really compatible with each other.” "Taylor's friends want what's best for her and aren't shocked that their relationship fizzled out since she recently got out of a long-term relationship,” the insider dished further. Since the start, Swift’s friends and fans have been concerned about her new romance with Healy, who has a history of substance abuse, many controversial comments, and kissing fans at concerts.

Swift is 'talking embodiment of liberalism'

While Swifties never liked Healy, his friends were also not very fond of the ‘Lavender’ crooner. The British rocker’s close friends Dasha Nekrasova and Anna Khachiyan once called Taylor 'evil' and even referred to her mother as ‘Miss Piggy’. Dasha and Anna made the cruel comments on their podcast ‘Red Scare’, where Matty made several problematic statements just three months ago. In one podcast episode titled 'Make Americana Great Again', the fierce pair commented on Taylor’s body, sexual assault case, and even her mom Andrea Swift after the release of her Netflix documentary, 'Miss Americana', in 2020, according to Buzz Feed.

Anna and Dasha dubbed the documentary "very masterful propaganda" and called Swift “literally the walking, talking embodiment of liberalism in that she’s a person who cannot acknowledge their capacity for monstrousness or evil, which is the source of all their problems.” They made fun of Swift’s mother after Anna mimicked the singer. “She was like: ‘The president’s gonna come for me, he is going to throw me in one of those dreamer detention camps. He’s gonna separate me from my Miss Piggy mother!’” she said.

'She has whatever the opposite of a libido is'

In another segment of the podcast, Anna and Dasha both admitted that they "gasped" in disdain when Taylor disclosed her current clothing size and said that they don't think she ever suffered from an eating disorder. “I don’t think she was ever anorexic, I don’t buy it,” Dasha said, to which Anna replied, “I kind of don’t, either.” The pair also claimed that the singer looked her best when she was “extremely underweight” and speculated that she’d got “breast implants and ass injections” to “balance out” her body.

While discussing Taylor's 2017 sexual assault trial, Dasha and Anna also blasted her for "ruining the lives of some totally inconsequential DJ" for a "minor grope." The former DJ David Mueller sued Taylor for slander after she claimed that he had grabbed her butt at a 2013 meet-and-greet and reached under her skirt. However, the jury decided in Taylor's favor. The two podcast hosts later made nasty comments about Swift's genitalia and speculated that she "doesn't want to f**k.” “She has whatever the opposite of a libido is,” Anna said. They concluded the episode by saying that the singer needs to acknowledge that she is “incredibly privileged and incredibly monstrous.”
