Matt Gaetz slammed after Sean Hannity shares report on Florida Rep drafting subpoena for Hunter Biden
NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: On Tuesday, September 19, Florida Republican Matt Gaetz took to X (formerly Twitter) to share a subpoena related to Hunter Biden, taking a jab at House Speaker Kevin McCarthy in the process.
This came after President Joe Biden’s son, Hunter Biden, was indicted on three federal gun charges, including one for making a false statement about the purchase of a firearm.
Subsequently, Fox News anchor Sean Hannity took to X (formerly Twitter) to share Matt Gaetz's move of drafting a subpoena for Hunter.
The Internet didn’t respond positively to Gaetz's claims, and his action was dubbed "performative nonsense" under Hannity's post.

Hannity also posted an article from its official website titled, “GAETZ OF HELL! Florida Rep. Issues Subpoena for Hunter Biden?!" containing Gaetz's tweet slamming Kevin McCarthy along with some reactions from others.
Along with taking a dig at Kevin McCarthy, Gaetz also attached the said subpoena in his X (formerly Twitter) post, listing the documents of proof they demanded from Hunter.

Matt Gaetz faces backlash from the Internet
After Sean Hannity reported about Matt Gaetz’s drafting subpoena for Hunter Biden, the netizens brutally mocked him.
A user wrote, "Political Theater and Matt is the D-List actor, with another adding, "Go away Matt."
One called out Gaetz, saying, "Performative nonsense," with a person expressing, "Not picky stuff. He didn’t *issue* Jack. He [had his staff] drafted it and asked McCarthy to sign/date, thereby issuing it."
