LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Courtney Lapresi, the winner of 'Masterchef' Season 5, has made serious allegations against FOX, claiming that the network manipulated and doxxed her by exposing her past as a stripper on national television. Lapresi, who has been open about her journey, shared that she was pressured into revealing her previous job as a stripper during the show, a revelation that left her feeling vulnerable and exposed.

Lapresi recalls a specific moment on the show when a producer confronted her, saying, "Courtney, what will you go home to if you don't win? You'll go back to being a stripper, won't you? The judges need to know that. You need to tell them that." This pressure to disclose personal information, according to Lapresi, was a former of manipulation that left her feeling humiliated and scared about how the public would perceive her.

Despite not being ashamed of her past work, Lapresi felt embarrassed and coerced into making the announcement on such a public platform.

"After years of therapy, I've since learned that *that* is a form of manipulation," she stated. She added that her discomfort stemmed from the way she was forced to reveal this part of her life, rather than the nature of the job itself, which led to have a lasting negative impact on her, despite winning the show.

What is Courtney Lapresi doing now?

Courtney Lapresi has taken a different path since her time on the show. After her victory, she didn't pursue a career in the culinary industry. Instead, she transitioned to a role in sales and joined Tesla.

Lapresi did make a notable contribution to the culinary world by writing a book titled Everyday Fancy: 65 Easy, Elegant Recipes for Meals, Snacks, Sweets, and Drinks.' Despite not continuing as a professional chef, her love for food remains evident through her regular posts on Instagram, where she shares her culinary creations and experiences.

Her decision to leave the culinary industry was speculated upon by fans, with some suggesting that the demanding nature of kitchen work or the relatively lower pay may have influenced her choice. Nevertheless, Lapresi seems content with her current career at Tesla and continues to engage with her passion for cooking in a more personal capacity.

Courtney Lapresi regrets her 'Masterchef' win

Courtney Lapresi wasn't fully content with her win on the Fox show as her victory was called 'preferential' and was controversial. This made her regret her winning instead. "What's even worse is that I was made to feel embarrassed for things I was so proud of. I wish I had used the platform to share how incredible club experience was," she said.

Despite the controversy, Lapresi walked away with the grand prize of $250,000.
