The pressure continues to kick in, as the 'MasterChef Junior' contestants take on their most formidable challenge yet, a restaurant takeover! There is certainly a whole lot on the line; with an elimination taking place at the end of the episode, it means that now, it all boils down to getting into the top five.

With Cruz having been eliminated, going into the challenge are now six contestants -- Ivy, Molly, Ava, A'dan, Liya and Grayson. And while they were all excited to take on the challenge, there was a long road ahead of them.

The judges divided the group into two teams -- leading the red team was Ava, and with her were Ivy and A'dan and leading the blue team was Grayson, with Liya and Molly on his team. Chef Rudy Lopez of Nomad showed the teams the reigns of his kitchen before giving the kids control, as they had to make a total of four dishes each. With Aarón Sánchez and Gordon Ramsey assisting them to ensure smooth sailing, they got to work immediately. Unfortunately, the red team stumbled with their footing right off the bat, as A'dan was not receptive towards Ava's orders. Thankfully, Aarón's intervention helped them get back on track, allowing them to find their rhythm.

Later on, the blue team faced their own set of issues during the entrees, with Molly on the grill, as one of the New York strips was sent back for being undercooked. Molly was upset, seeing that she considered herself the grill master and expected better from her performance. The blue team was crumbling slowly, as Liya, too, ended up serving raw fish. Back over on the red team, A'dan ended up serving raw steaks as well. Gordon took the team aside in the hope of helping them find their stride. Ava began to question her choice to put A'dan on the grill. However, they managed to get it together towards the end. But the question remained -- was it enough?

While the restaurant guests were impressed when they found out that kids cooked their dinner, only one team could win the challenge and escape elimination. That team was none other than the blue team. But this meant that Ivy, Ava and A'dan would now face elimination based on their performance in the kitchen. When it came down to it, the judges decided to send A'dan home, ending his time on the show.

Catch Season 8 of 'MasterChef Junior' on Thursdays, at 8 pm ET/PT on FOX.
