Coming just in time for those under quarantine, lockdown, or simply social distancing at home, Marvel has released ' Marvels', a podcast that celebrates the 25th Anniversary of Kurt Busiek and Alex Ross' seminal series. New episodes of the show will release weekly, and the first one is already up.

The official synopsis for the first episode reads: "Marcia Hardesty (AnnaSophia Robb) teams up with legendary photojournalist Phil Sheldon (Seth Barish) and his investigative partner Ben Urich (Method Man) to comb through the aftermath of Galactus' arrival in Manhattan and his fight with The Fantastic Four in this new retelling of the seminal graphic novel by Kurt Busiek and Alex Ross."

Relive Galactus' first invasion of Earth, and his classic battle with the Fantastic Four, in audio format. The podcast was first released on Stitcher as part of the 'Marvels' 25th Anniversary celebration but is now available for free wherever you get your podcasts.

The 'Marvels' comic was a look at early Marvel history through the lens of a man who was trying to understand what it meant to be human in a world filled with the superhuman. Sheldon slowly loses faith in the superheroes who are meant to inspire and protect the populace but finds solace in humanity.

As part of the celebrations, Marvel has also released two new comics series — 'The Marvels,' and 'Marvel.' 'The Marvels' is a weekly series that follows moments from in and around superhero histories, bringing seemingly disparate elements of the Marvel Universe together.

'Marvel,' on the other hand, is an anthology series helmed by Alex Ross that sees various stories from around the Marvel Universe with one common story thread running through them.

According to Marvel.com, "also included in the cast are Louisa Krause as Sue Storm, Jake Hart as Ben Grimm, Ehad Berisha as Johnny Storm, Teo Rapp-Olsson as Peter Parker, and Gabriela Ortega as Charlie Martinez."

The series has been adapted and written by Lauren Shippen and directed by Paul Bae with sound design by Mischa Stanton. The first episode of 'Marvels' is out now, wherever you get your podcasts, and releases new episodes every Thursday.
