'Marrying Millions': Is Erica unsure about marrying Rick? Why has all the wedding talk scared her father?
Rick and Erica are 46 years apart but that has not come in the way of them maintaining a healthy relationship. Previously, we have seen how Rick spoke of changing his mind about marriage. He has been married a couple of times and after his last divorce, he thought he would never get married but since he met Erica, the feelings have started to change.
Rick seemed certain that she was not after his money and had only praises for her. On the other hand, when Erica was asked if Rick was "the one," she said if he proposes to her then she would "probably" say yes. Clearly, there's a lot of uncertainty here.
However, in this week's episode, we see Rick confidently answering Erica's father's questions. He even said that they (Erica and Rick) have discussed marriage, which came as surprise to the father because it scares him plus Erica never talked about getting married to Rick.
The discrepancy at play here is worrying because marriage is an important topic among committed couples. Did Erica keep the information from her father because she was unsure or did she think it was early to discuss such things? Time will tell.
For now, let's focus on how invested the two seem in their relationship. "When I first met Erica, physically, I'm like, oh my god, I am crazy over this girl. She's funny, she's quick-witted. And she's got her head on her shoulders, which I really love," Rick said but his friends are far from convinced. They think she loves his money.
Meanwhile, Erica is unphased by the fact that Rick is 18 years younger than her father. They met on social media and his first message to her was "come live with me in my yacht." Although, she found it weird at first but was taken by his looks once she visited his profile. But there are quite a few other reasons why Rick is such a good match for her. "Older men usually have their lives together, and they are not stressed out about finances. And they are much better in bed," Erica shared during one of her green-room interviews.
