'Married to Medicine' Season 2: Will a cocktail party resolve the hatred Imani and Jazmin have for each other?
Bravo's 'Married to Medicine: Los Angeles' is everything the title suggests. It's about marriages, the cracks in them and the success some of the cast members have achieved in medicine and how that impacts regular friendships. It's dramatic, b***hy, and occasionally emotional.
Imani Walker and Jazmin Johnson's fractured friendship is going to form a major part of this season's storylines. Everyone around them is concerned about the bitterness and coldness that have taken over their once-solid bond.
In the previous season, they had a fight about success and who achieved more in life. It was a nasty one, so much so that Jazmin even refused to hug Imani in one of the episodes.
Currently, Jazmin has opened the doors to her new 4221 sq ft, lavish rental villa to her girls and they have expressed an interest in organizing a cocktail party just to celebrate the milestone.
This was a huge move for Jazmin who has been putting in her best efforts to prove that she is not just a doctor's wife and can be much more than that if she puts her mind to it.
A part of the group wants Imani to join them for the party, while Jazmin remains unsure. "I don't have issues with Imani. I just think I don't get the respect from her," she told her friends while hanging out at Los Angeles' Venice Beach.
However, they make her understand that Imani is their African-American sister and they must be with her at all times.
Meanwhile, Imani met with her friend Dr Heavenly, a dentist, at a park where she works out and hikes in, often. Heavenly tells her she must consider attending Jazmin's cocktail party, to which she immediately responds positively saying that she can be cordial with people no matter the beef.
"I work with people that I may not necessarily like but I am cordial to. It doesn't mean that every time I see them, I am going to punch them in the throat," Imani told Heavenly.
Here's hoping this cocktail party brings them together and they are able to move past the angst that they have held against each other.
