It has been reported that a married Premier League football star was caught on video having a threesome with two women. The footage is being shared on WhatsApp by fans. The player, who has not been named as of yet, has been described as being a "household name".

The football star was captured on camera thoroughly enjoying himself in the one-minute clip that has already been shared by multitudes of people on social media. The women in the video have not been named either but it has been confirmed that neither of them was his wife. The club that the player has been signed to has vehemently denied that the man in the clip is their player. The football star has not been named for legal reasons.

According to The Daily Star, a source close to the footballer has slammed fans for brazenly sharing the clip and spreading rumors. They said: "It will only take a couple of idiots who have seen the footage to start singing about it and a terrace chant could take hold."

This incident, however, is not the first time that a Premier League player has been embroiled in a scandal involving sex tapes.

In 2015, three budding stars from Leicester City filmed themselves  taking part in a hotel room orgy where they were seen racially abusing local Thai girls who were in the room performing sex acts with the men. Tom Hopper, Adam Smith, and James Pearson (son of Foxes manager Nigel) were named in an exclusive report that The Sunday Mirror published on June 17, 2015. The men could be heard calling one of the Thai women "slit eye" and laughing in the clip they then shared with their friends in the UK.

A spokesperson for the club had said in a statement: "Leicester City Football Club has notified Tom Hopper, Adam Smith and James Pearson that their contracts with the club have been terminated. The decision follows the conclusion of an internal investigation and disciplinary proceedings, as a consequence of events that took place during the Club’s end-of-season goodwill tour of Thailand."

"Leicester City Football Club is acutely aware of its position, and that of its players, as a representative of the city of Leicester, the Premier League, the Football Association and the Club’s supporters. It is committed to promoting a positive message of community and family values and equality, and to upholding the standards expected of a Club with its history, tradition, and aspirations. The Club will make no further comment on the investigation, its finding or outcomes."

In 2016, a former player for Aston Villa issued a public apology after a sex tape that had him, a team-mate and an unnamed woman performing various sex acts went viral. After the footage showed up on social media websites, fans were quick to identify the two players as Antonio Luna and Sergi Enrich.
