A court has heard how a married nursery worker regularly engaged in sexual intercourse with a 13-year-old boy and even had his baby. Leah Cordice, 20, allegedly walked into the teenager's bedroom one night when he was playing computer games. She proceeded to seduce him, pull down his trousers, and started having sex with him, Metro reports.

After that encounter, the duo continued to have sex for at least twice a month for a year. She eventually gave birth to a baby girl, Reading Crown Court heard on Tuesday.

While Cordice continued her sexual relationship with the teenager, she married her long-term boyfriend, who believed the child was his. However, the jury was told how a DNA test would later reveal the schoolboy was the biological father. The Windsor, Berkshire native was forced to take a pregnancy test after the teenager's mother grew suspicious and called the authorities.

"You are supposed to have sex and, like, love each other," the boy, who cannot be named for legal reasons, told police during an interview. "It was just like, she just wanted to do it. Now I feel like she did not really care about me."

Cordice has since denied five counts of engaging in sexual activity with a child. According to the report, three of them took place when she was 17 and the other two after she turned 18.

The court heard how the nursery worker went to the boy's house inebriated in January 2017 and headed straight into his room. According to the victim, they first started talking normally and watched YouTube together. The boy later told police that Corden proceeded to sit on his bed "and started to hug him and kiss him and it carried on," according to Grace Ong, prosecuting.

"He said, 'I could not really say no. She would have kept asking and asking me to have sex,'" Ong told the court. "He felt that it was a bit weird and that she did not say anything to him afterwards."

Cordice and the youngster continued to have unprotected sex regularly until the beginning of 2018. A few weeks later, the boy was interrogated by authorities. He said Cordice told him she was pregnant by showing him an app on her phone, which indicated she had conceived the first time they had sex. It is unclear how she knew the boy.

In July 2018, Cordice was arrested at her home. When interviewed by authorities under caution, she denied any sexual contact with the boy. "He has always had a crush on me and would always make inappropriate remarks and do inappropriate things such as grab me and annoy me," she said in a prepared statement. "We did not have sexual contact."

But the DNA test that followed proved that the boy was, in fact, the father of her newborn daughter. Cordice now accepts she had sex with the schoolboy, but still denies he is the biological father of her child.

"What she may say is that she was raped by the boy," Ong told the jury. "The prosecution’s case is that there was no such thing but these individuals agreed to have sexual intercourse with one another."

The trial continues.
